A community for readers & authors
Books bring us together. Stories keep us talking.
Discover books, share the stories that stay with you, and meet people who love talking about what they read. There is always room for one more perspective.
For the books we love — and the conversations they start.
More than a reading list
A book is only the beginning.
Plot & People brings readers together to discover books, exchange honest reactions and find fresh perspectives in the pages they share.
We make room for authors, too — because the story does not end when a book reaches its reader.
With more than 5,000 readers in our wider reading community, we know a story can bring together people who might never have chosen the same book on their own.

The Story Behind the Story
Every book has a life beyond its pages. We invite authors to talk about the ideas that began it, the choices that shaped it, and the questions they hope readers will keep asking.
Thoughtful conversations for readers who want to look closer — and authors who want to share more than a book description.
A dedicated Plot & People event exploring the ideas, experiences and creative choices behind a book — with the author at the centre.
